What is cold laser therapy?
Cold laser therapy uses a special type of laser to reach the deep tissues beneath the skin where muscle knots are most likely to form. During treatment, a handheld device will be passed over the treatment area, emitting laser energy to a specific depth and for a specific period, which can range from about 60 seconds to several minutes, depending on the issue which is being addressed.
